Young American — My first car. Bought in 1976 for 200$. Not really a great car but man I would love to have one now. A rag top with small block V8. Right on. Mine had a 232 6cyl that offered up a wopping 6mpg on regular fuel. Maybe not the cars fault. The throttle only had 2 positions. On and Off Pros: nothin 'cept the memories Cons: nothing really ![]() Looking for a Used Rambler American in your area?CarGurus has 8 nationwide Rambler American listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |

Do You Like Quirky? I've Got Quirky For You. By Mike
It's a forty-six year old economy car. It leaks a bit and has no carpeting, but everywhere I drive it people smile and give me the thumbs-up. The brakes are very strong for unboosted drums and the h... Read More
