1955 MG TFReview

Mgtf 1955 — I like every thing about it, but it lacks performance. It is good on handling with very posotive steering. the accileration is not bad for a car of 1250 cc. The body has a wood frame which had to be replaced. The inner and exterior styling is a beauty to behold better than modern cars. The maitenance and cost to run are negligable. This is an excilent car for fun and to drive especially on narrow twisty dirt roads.

Pros: Every thing

Cons: None

An Intro To Two Seaters. — Actually a 1955 MGA Roadster! Bought from a mate for £65 in 1968, I kept it just over a year, selling it for £45 (with some accident damage) after I bought an MGB. Excellent handling with slick gearchange, it lacked performance - perhaps just as well as the shock absorbers were not at their best.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: A good, cheap open 2 seater.

Cons: Somewhat noisy and slow.

Pocket Rocket By Toby

Mid-engined, rear wheel drive, 0-60 mph in under 7 seconds, good suspension, massive brakes, nice grippy tyres, so much fun to drive. Keeps breaking though... That's what you get when you buy British!... Read More
