2007 Ford Focus SES Reviews

Performance- Average (same as 98 civic ex)
Quality- Poor, its cheap though
Appearance- not worse not best
Cost- Affordable
Fun- not really but it works

Great on gas. Great pick-up.

The handling is excellent with less body roll than the Honda Civic and minimal bump steer.  The ride is a little stiff but comfortable on all but the bumpiest of roads.  The steering is precise, but very sensitive giving the impression of less stability at higher speeds - use two hands or grip the steering wheel less firmly to prevent feedback from bumps.  I drove a Focus in Europe at over 100 mph with no problems so it is very stable!  Clutch feel with the M/T is good providing smoother starts and shifts than the Civic.  Acceleration is not quite as strong as the Civic but the torque curve is smooth giving good control in turns.  Braking is good with a good feel, but I haven't tried them on ice.  The interior is somewhat spartan with a lot of plastic - the overhead compartment latch is particarly cheesey.  The 6 CD has weak and muddy bass but sounds OK if you boost the treble - a Sony Audiophile upgrade might be worth the bucks for the more discerning.

I absolutely love my new 2007 Focus! It's aqua blue clearcoat metallic and it has the new sport appearance package on it! It looks great and runs great! Haven't had a problem out of it yet!
