2007 BMW 328 Reviews

As an inline 6 cylinder, its gas mileage could use
some improvement but thats my fault cause I'm
mad foot heavy. As far as emissions, its  a lot better
for the environment than your average Japanese 4
cylinder... its true... Very insurance-cost friendly.
Maintenance will be free till it reaches 100,000
miles which is forever away, so no problems there.
Extremely fun to drive, excellent handling, as you
would expect from a bmw. Beats the crap out of my
old Volvo haha... Build quality is awesome. Lots of
attention to detail, even down to the stitching of
the steering wheel. Simple, refined, great value. Its
black... and it gets me from point A to point B safely
and quickly.

Very reliable, good looking, fast, fun, and sporty car.  This is my 7th BMW and all of them have had electrical problems.  Seven out of two were purchased new, so it was not a pre-existing issue.

There are two things I think are worth
noting about my 328xi coupe, and they are
the build quality, and the driving
performance. I pre-ordered mine in 2006
before they were even available yet, and
got one of the first ones delivered to
the USA. I had so many build/service
issues it is hard to even remember them
all. The radiator blew and had to be
completely replaced at mile 200, within
the first week of ownership. The wheels
cracked multiple times, needing to be
replaced each time. My A/C system began
flooding (yes with water) the cabin of
the vehicle, instead of draining outside.  
The whole car cabin  was soaked with
easily 1 inch of water inside. My
automatic door locks broke several times,
trapping me inside of the vehicle with no
way out, except to press the "SOS"
button. Once, this happened AT the
dealership when I arrived, and they had
difficulty getting me out.

Aside from all of these build/service
problems, and more I have not even
mentioned, this car DRIVES BETTER THAN
ANY OTHER VEHICLE I have driven. It has
safely delivered me to out-of-state
events during blizzards, that have
crippled other 4-wheel drive SUVS along
the side of the roads. It has handling
capabilities that make me feel like a
NASCAR driver. Every time it is gone for
service, I miss driving it. Compared to
driving the Infiniti G35s, Lexus SCs,
even the Corvette Z06, I still prefer the
328xi for an every day all purpose car.
It handles so precisely at the slightest
touch, it has traction even on ice, and
the 328 in line 6 engine is more than
sufficient power.

Best car I've owned so far.  All season capable, because of All Wheel Drive System.  Because it is BMW, all maintenance are paid for until 50k miles.  It is a beautiful, both outside and inside.  Whenever I walk towards the car, I'm amazed.

its actually a 2009 but that wasnt an option.. the new
idrive is much simpler than the 2007 550i and its
much smaller and fuel efficient with a nice v6. the only
problem is that when i connect the ipod to the usb
port for control using the navigation it says that it isnt
compatible
