What can I say... Well what do you expect from a TWIN TURBO V6 Audi.... its audi so its luxury and the engine/ transmision/ suspension is built for performance..... Oh baby.... The twin turbo setup also allows for big upgrade potential with huge gains... Performance + Sleek style = Audi B5 S4

| “Amazing Car, Has The Most Amazing Twin Turbo V6!” Reviewing:
2002 Used Audi S4 4 Dr quattro Turbo AWD Sedan
This may look like a regular A4 but it packs a punch. The S4 is a Bi-turbo 2.7L V6 the most amazing feeling when you slam those gears and you let the turbos spool up.
Pros —
Loved the interior, Engine, 6 speed
Cons —
value, the turbos are known to go at 100 000km thats about 10 grand a turbo:S

I bought my S4 about a year and a half ago and have had no problems with it. I love the daily driver look but the muscle able to beet a lot of other drivers. I once raced a new GTO and just took off past him. I highly recommend this car! I am looking to upgrade it might is proving a little harder than I thought but there is a lot you can do to it. In the near future I am setting her on 19" Faulkin Rims, and starting some major upgrades, brakes, engines, turbos etc... |

If I could design a fun car for myself it would be pretty much the same as a b5 s4. Excellent Quattro handling, quiet and comfortable around town, a holy terror on the open road. If you decide to put your foot down you had better be prepared for blurry scenery. The maximum torque comes on at 1850rpm and stays same until 5800rpm. Virtually no turbo lag. What this gives you is the ability to pull stumps out of the ground. Mine is santorin (dark metallic) blue with soft ivory leather interior. Maintenance costs are a lot higher than my Honda Accord. The turbos on early models tended to expire before 100,000 miles. My S4 has 58,000 miles on it and I have not expierienced any problems since I bought it from an Audi nut in sept. 06. I recommend the 2001.5 or 2002 model because some of the problems of earlier models were corrected. The bad news is only 660 B5 S4 sedans were imported to USA in 2002 so good luck finding one. I found mine after a 4 month search. I strongly recommend this car as a fun weekend car with all-weather ability but I would not buy one as a daily driver, but thats just me. Its way too nice and way too fast to pile up the miles driving back and forth to work everyday although you could. Most people don't know anything about this beast and that makes it more fun at stoplights. My advise to any bone-head lining up next to an S4, check to see if you have at least 300hp under the hood before you make a fool out of yourself. |
