[Edit] For the price of a typical, mid-level SUV - and for a few thousand dollars cheaper than the pricier BMW 330 - drivers can own a true European sports sedan. The 2004 BMW 325 has a 2.5L engine, which may not equal the thrust of the 330's 3.0L engine, but the car still packs plenty of power.
Even with its standard, five-speed shifter, the 2004 325 offers longer throws than a typical sports car. 2004 marked the first year that BMW included a Sequential Manual Gearbox in the 325 and 330 -- a feature previously reserved for its M3 line. Reviewers note that it can take some getting used to and if "you want a smooth-shifting automatic, this isn't it."
