CarGurus' 1993 BMW 318 Review

BMW gave the 318 increased front seat height adjustments to improve head room in the 1993 model year. A four speed automatic transmission was also available as an option for the first time, but serious drivers preferred the standard, four-speed manual gear box.

Depending on the trim, the car's 1.9 liter, four cylinder engine produced horsepower between 134 and 138 and offered torque rating between 127 and 133.

Drivers loved how the car handled but had some complaints about the styling. Small rear doors on the four-door model made rear entry difficult, and hard plastic surfaces in the cabin seemed uninviting in a luxury sports car.
