Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I installed a new battery and 2 weeks later the battery was dead. I connected a amp meter between the ground lead and the ground post of the battery. the current started at 2 amps and worked up to 7.5. this is with ALL of the fuses and ALL of the relays removed from the fuse box. Any ideas.
