Question type: General

I can drive my car for a hour, when I turn it
off it takes 2 or 3 hours before it will start
again. When it warms up fuel pump shuts
off. It cuts back on but the car doesn't
engage at all.

With my car I had a similar problem. After about an hour sometimes 2 my car would decide not to start. But if I waited a little and tried starting it again . It would start right up. It ended up being my starter going out, And my head gasket was messed up from previous owner. Then the stalling, shaking and really high/low RPM readings ended up being a cylinder coil. So I fixed all and then everything was good for a long while... Then just recently my car started having trouble starting again...it would start if lucky 1 out of 10 tries. It ended up being my crankshaft position sensor now. Maybe try checking those parts ?

My money is on the Ignition Control Module. When they start to go bad the engine heat affects them and causes a no start condition. But what you say Brianna, if it is a cranking problem then yes, it would be the starter, heat will affect the starter also. The ICM can be tested at an auto parts store, and I also would have the coil checked since your going there.
