i have a 91 pontiac firebird it has a 305 i dont have power to my fuel pump relay

i traced the wires from the relay to the computer and no power i replaced the computer with a brand new one and still no power to the relay or the fuel pump what could the problem be

it's possible that the Ignition switch isn't sending the signal to the pcm hands you tested the ignition switch?

power to the relay comes from the power distribution center under the hood then the pcm activates the relay which sends power to the pump. there should be an assy.line priming connector by the left hood hinge, a single tab terminal in a plastic connector 3" or 4" of wire coming out of the harness. if you can run the pump from this conn. the circuit is good from the eng.back
