1995 bronco stalls out when put in gear. Does the ignition control module have anything to do with it stalling under load?

Asked by Guru5SHKF Feb 06, 2018 at 07:32 PM about the 1995 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was at a stop light when it started to stall. When the light turned green I
kinda pressed the gas pedal hard and a second later it started to shake so I
pulled to the side and then it stalled out. It starts every time and idles perfect
but when I put it in any gear it stalls. I was on a hill so I let it roll in neutral and
when I got some momentum I put it in drive and it took me home. As soon as
I came to a stop it stalled. Anybody have any idea what's up with that? Ford
company thought it was the torque converter. They put a new one in and the
bronco still does the same thing.
