No turn signals or brake lights but tail lights work on 97 firebird

Everything was working fine then all of a
sudden the brake lights and turn signals
went out but the brake lights work

I would check out your fuses first. I think that is the only common portion of the electrical feed to the turn signals and brake lights. If they are good, the turn signal relay does not affect the brake lights but it could be easily replaced (and cheap) and the brake lights are controlled by a switch located on to your brake pedal linkage (also cheap and easily replaced).
