Plug misfire

Asked by Philpowell Feb 07, 2018 at 01:26 PM about the 1999 Pontiac Firebird Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Cylinder number 6 seems to keep misfiring. Had it checked and it said misfire
and needed new coils, so I replaced all three. Still says misfire on computer.
Spark plug is black and has been replaced. After a couple hundred miles the
ck engine light comes back on. Mechanic says it’s a valve problem. What do
you think?

It could also be a faulty fuel injector , Did you change the spark plug wires ?? Have the compression test none
