Car ran fine, left radio on and ran down battery. Charged battery car started fine and ran about 4 miles then engine shut off. Will start for about a second and die. What's wrong?

I have disconnected and reconnected the battery but no change.   No dash
lights remain lit.

That is the battery still. Since you said "No dash lights remain lit" that is the battery because if it wasn't the battery the dash lights would remain lit unless you turned the car off. How long have you had the current battery for? I'd recommend buying a new battery and replacing the current one.

you'll have to test for spark or fuel when the problem occurs , something may have gone bad when this happened by pure coincidence .
