Will a 94 manual transmission for a chevy calivar work in a 2002 pontiac sunfire?

As long as they both have the v-6 bellhousing pattern. The ecotec (option in 02) uses it's own bellhousing pattern. Just keep in mind that the '94 may have the Getrag 282 or Isuzu which may need some other components changed. Visually inspect the shifter area and the axle splines. If you know what trim/motor in in the Cav and what motor you have I can give you a better answer.
