Air conditioner

Asked by kstorey Jun 21, 2016 at 06:07 PM about the 2004 Pontiac Bonneville SLE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The carpet in the passenger floorboard is soaked
due to the air conditioner. Someone told me that
the drainage hose is probably stopped up, and
needs cleaning. How do I find it and what is the
best way to clean it?

If the liquid smells sweet like antifreeze, it is likely your heater box element or a connection to it. If not, then check out your condensate drain or, if you have a sunroof, the drain from it.
