1988 ITTASCA SUNFLIER MOTOR HOME, RUNS FOR 30 SECONDS THEN
SHUTS OFF AND DOES THE SAME THING EVERYTIME I START IT

Sounds like lack of fuel. Make sure the choke is working and change the fuel filter. You may need to rebuild the carb.
