Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have removed everything from in front of the field coil. I don't see a snap ring or retaining clip holding it on. I hive tried prying it off per instructions, but it wont budge.

You think the assembly was pressed in with a forge press?....goddamn hassle, I say...sure you could use some clever cutters to gain access, but what then? the lengths of wire (coils) do not really go bad....just buy another...shoppin' fer ya, there is one source for $133.00~ https://www.google.com/#q=1995+Ford+E- 250+air+conditioning+compressor&tbm=shop
