1997 E 150 no brake lights

Asked by stinson317 Mar 28, 2010 at 01:11 PM about the 1997 Ford E-Series E-150 XLT Club Wagon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have no hazards, break lights or turn signals.   Is there a fuse, relay or ? that controls this circuit?   I've looked in the owners manual and nothing is jumping out at me?

Our 1995 E150 conversion van suffered same loss of brake/hazard/turn lights today when the dealer tech moved the steering wheel tilt alignment. Service writer said changing the steering tilt setting could cause the loss of those lights, but the offer to fix it for $100+ didn't set well with me. THere is a fuse (#11 for our van) in the box above the brake pedal, but it is not blown on ours. I also need to find out how to fix this mess.

I have a 2002 E150 Club wagon with the same problem, no flashers, brake lights, or turn signals. My problems started when the dealer performed the speed control system modification (recall 09S09) not sure if there's a connection here. Was anyine able to successfully troubleshoot this problem?
