I just replaced the ignition in my 96 ranger.
Now the truck will not start. Any ideas of
what may be the problem?

Does it have a new key with the switch. If so you will have to have the chip in the key coded to your trucks computer/ecm.

    When I put a good battery in I turn the key and get one click in the steering column and nothing the radio goes out while I have it the key turned

    I took all the plastics apart and noticed the ignition actuator is working. I replaced the ignition cylinder and the truck turns, but it won’t cut off.
