intake manifold gasket

Asked by Chronroid Jun 06, 2020 at 01:09 AM about the 1999 Oldsmobile Alero 4 Dr GLS Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I clearly have a bad lower intake manifold gasket
as I watched a tad of coolant leak out.

However there appears to be oil in my coolant is it
possible for oil to leak in due to a bad intake or is
that more then likely a bad head gasket also.

I ask because there is no sense in my just going as
far as the intake manifold if I need to do a head
gasket

Thanks, I was hoping not to do the compression test but I'll cave. It isn't a lot of oil in there but there certainly is some in there 100%
