Purchased one new in 96, without 4 wheel drive. Handed it down to a relative in 2010 when I purchased a new truck. Over 350K miles. No problem other than what would be considered normal. Alternator, water pump, etc changed. I was a stickler for routine maintenance, including tranny fluid and filter change ever 40K miles. The old 4.0 pushrod engine wasn't loaded with horsepower but it was reliable. Oh, and believe it or not, had all the original AC parts and still blew as cold as when new.
