what could be wrong when my headlights blow a fuse?

the bright lights will come on but I will lose the dash lights, door chime, and tail lights.

Hey I had this exact problem after having mine for about 2 weeks. Only thing that worked was the brights, brake lights, and maybe blinkers. What it was, was it had blown 3 fuses in the 3rd fuse box by the battery. I took mine to a foreign autoparts shop and it was pretty cheap to fix.
