The air conditioning compressor keeps clicking on and off when running?

The system is fullycharged but car not cooling properly- I noticed the air conditioner compressor keeps clicking on and off every 5 seconds or so

How do you know it has the proper charge? This is a sign of low refrigerant with the system cycling because it can't find the pressures it needs to work properly.

Yeah my another can of refrigerant with a gauge on it. Fairly cheap at Walmart. Get the one with a little bit of stop leak in it too. Watch the pressure. You may just need half a can..

I don't know about stop leak. I would have a pro set the pressures and maybe install a leak detection dye while they are at it.
