Cant seem to find the leak. Is there a common part that wears out or breaks/crack?

Depends on the mileage on the engine to help diagnose what the cause could be. VQ30DE's are not known for burning oil. It could be valve covers (specifically the rear where you can't really see), lower oil pan, oil filter base etc. Take the time to look properly. If you are burning it check the PCV valve, otherwise it's the piston rings.
