Engine swap

Asked by Santana Aug 01, 2018 at 11:22 PM about the 1997 Nissan Pickup 2 Dr STD Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed out my engine from a 94 Nissan pickup truck to
my 97 Nissan pickup truck but the disturbors are different I
was wondering what i could do about that situation

1 Answer

You'll have to use the distributer from the 97. You could switch to the 94's distributer but you will also have to change out the timing cover out as well. Is there a reason why you don't like the `997 distributer?
