I keep seeing things that say that the SE-R comes stock with a SR20DE stock...Is this true?

If you are referring to the 1997 200SX two-door then it came with a 1.6L 4-cyclinder GA14DE engine or the 2.0L SR20DE in the sporty model. It just depends on which one was purchased and would come stock with the one that was chosen. You can read up on this in the section 1995-1998:S14 and B14 at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_200SX

It DID come with the SR20DE Stock. I don't know what this other person was thinkin, lol. The SE and regular 200SX came with the 1.6 liter, but the SE-R came with the 2.0 liter, alloy wheels, sunroof was optional, and 4 or 5 speed manual.

Yes the se-r is powered by a 140hp 132ft lb tq sr20de. Anything from the 90s that is tagged se-r has an sr20.
