Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 98 200sx SE that refuses to run. I have
a new fuel pump fuel filter distributor and cap
new plugs it's got fuel flow all the way up to the
injector rail . Will turn over good and starts for a
brief second then dies. Any ideas? Scanner said
camshaft positioning sensor but we cleared the
code and it didn't come back up.  Idk what it
could be? ?

Have you checked for spark at the plugs? No spark - no fire. Pull the lead wire to one cylinder remove the plug, reattach the plug to the wire and ground the base of it while someone tries to start the car. You should hear and observe the spark at the electrode of the plug. Again, no spark, no fire so move back up the chain to either the coil pack or distributor coil and determine why you are not getting a spark.
