How to fix date/time?

Asked by yundaiGUY Jul 14, 2020 at 12:05 PM about the 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.0T SEL AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The date and time just shows dashes --:-- suddenly after I returned to my car. I
went to the settings and date/time is greyed out so I can't access it. I reset the
car radio to default and nothing was resolved. Restarted the car and didn't
work either. Does anyone have the same problem or found a solution?

So I the date/time came back online after I plugged in my iPhone and opened up CarPlay. Not exactly sure if that was the true fix or a "GPS satellite" issue that was resolved from other forum threads I've read.... Good luck to all! Btw my car does not have a SD card compared to other older models to try the SD card reset fix.
