Then have the mechanic find the short. It has to be a major short to be blowing a 100 amp. fuse right away.

Hi folks same problem here 2007 four months ago I put an aftermarket dc-dc converter in now exact same problem. My son driving on highway lost all power with blown 100A fuse. Looking for the short. Not sure where to begin.

Hi mate Same fault here, unplugged the DC converter cable from the bttery at the engine bay, car started first time after replacing the 100a multi fuse. Tested the DC cable wiring for a short to ground, disconnected from both DC Converter & battery, and there was no short prosent. Therefore isolating the problem to the DC DC Converter, the inverter, or the IMA battery. Despite reading about numerous faults, there is no service bulletins for this sadly. Any help will be much appreciated.
