Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my car will shutt off randomly while driving or even at an idle. once it has stalled it is hard to get it
running again, like it isnt getting any fuel.  then my battery keeps getting drained..  is it my battery that
is bad? is that why the car is shutting off?

It's possible your battery is going bad. It's also possible your alternator isn't charging the battery properly. You should stop by AutoZone and have them test your battery, which they'll do for free. Describe your problem to them, and they should be able to point you in the right direction.

I have a question I have a 2008 Nissan Maxima with a 3.5 I was driving home yesterday and the car was still running but when I gave it gas it wouldn't idle up or do anything but it would move in idle so if I had it and drive it would go slowly Ford and if I had it reverse will go slowly backwards but once I gave it gas it wouldn't do anything but if I gave it too much gas do to act like a brake and Slow Me Down

My 2016 maxima was doing the same thing. Tried new battery. The alternator drained it in a week. Put in a new alternator, $177 plus 2 hours labor.
