2019 Atlas SE with Technology

I bought this car new in July and have about 10,000 miles on it. Occasionally,
and for no apparent reason, the engine turns off when I put it in reverse. Has
happened at least 6 times in various circumstances. Nothing behind me, engine
just turns off. Concerned about safety.

Did you take it back the VW service department? That is why you have a warranty.
