Why do i see the map on display when I start the car?

Question type: General

I do not want to see the navigation map every time I start the car.  There must
be a way to turn off this feature.

I suggest reading that book in the glove box.

Great question and not a helpful answer. I have looked at the book and find nothing. Anyone else have a useful answer for us?

Did anyone find an answer. I hate it as well. It used to not do it and now it does it. Please be a hero and tell me how to fix it.

Someone has to have a hack or some type of solution to this. I just want my start screen to show the audio/XM page instead of the map.

According to my SV Manager there is not work around. This is my 4 Pathfinder. My wife's Murano you can default the Audio but Pathfinder you cannot and it sucks. the maps are horriible as well. I like Waze better but I love my Pathfinder.
