2005 PT Cruiser temperature

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Temperature warning light & chime come on. Can not replicate for
mechanic.Replaced radiator ,fluids & thermostat.Any ideas?

Is the fan coming on? When the engine starts to run hot and the thermostat opens a electric fan on the back of the radiator is supposed to come on. How about the water pump? If you have too much water mixed in the antifreeze will make it run hot. You shouldn't be adding any water because the inside of the engine might rust. It could be that also

    This is 1 that's driving me to drink. My cruiser will crank but won't start until about 20/25 cranks, I have to keep the rpm's over 1.5 or it'll stall and die, also stalls when rpms get around 3k....
