why wont my dash lights come on

after installing an after market stereo my dash lights wont come on all other lights and gauges come on

Well.....? Did your dash light work before you installed the aftermarket radio? If yes, there's your sign. You might of cut or incorrectly wired something wrong. It's possible a fuse or the summer switch is bad.
