My 2001 Mitsubishi Galant keeps turning
over but will not start up. Any ideas?

Need to check for spark & fuel pressure.

How do I check my fuel pressure? It sparks fine tho

I also was told to listen for my fuel pump to engage when turning the key half way but I didn't hear it at all, but the enigne turns over nice n strong but doesn't start

Ok, sounds like you have spark, but looking like a fuel problem. When turning the key to the on position, you should hear the fuel pump pump up and then turn off. There should be a fuel pump relay that may be bad if you do not hear the pump. Otherwise you need a fuel pressure gauge and all the right fittings to hook up in line to check the fuel pump pressure.

Ok well I had my father in law just look at it, he is also a mechanic n he is saying it's something electrical and it's not getting a spark! It could also be the anti theft system since we replaced the battery terminals because that resets it as I was told

Yes on that security system, for some reason they cause grief when changing the battery. Unfortunately I do not know much about security systems.
