I put a new fuel pump on and it pumps but
won't get gas to carberator. Lines are clear.

Does it pump gas ? The fuel lines may have rotted out where they go above the rear axle block , they won't leak because they're up high , they'll just suck air . Those were the years carbs. were on their way out . some were P.O.S. before computer elec. caught up .
