2003 Mitsubishi gallant I drove to store cut engine off went in did shopping came out car wouldn't start but I had to use screwdriver to jump silinoid think I messed ecm unit up?

Check oil pressure switch. Some cars have to have pressure to ecm to turn on fuel and spark.
