Brake and rear signals Inop, new brake light switch didn't help, plus trunk issues

Asked by DorenLamar Sep 02, 2013 at 02:16 PM about the 1993 Mercury Sable GS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My '93 Mercury Sable has working tail lights but my rear signal and brake lights are not working. I replaced the brake light switch, as advised, but nothing happened. Also, my trunk will latch closed nut pop back open after a few miles. I unplugged trunk release, as advised, still same problem. Please help me rid my beautiful Sable of these Gremlins!
