My car sometimes misses while accelerating or going uphill. What could be the problem?

My car starts fine and travels well but eventually start missing when accelerating particularly going uphill.

It could be old spark plugs. Try a new set and a air filter too.

Yes, sounds like the ignition system is breaking down. Do a complete tune-up first. HTH. -Jim
