when should you get a transmission flush? and is it recommended?

i need to know if its a good idea to get a transmission flust on my 1994 mercury sable i dont think it ever had 1 before it it is sitting on 110 thousand mile right now

Yes. The fluid should be nice and clean usually a red colour. If it is discoloured it needs to be replaced. make sure it is flushed out properly not just drained and refilled as draining it does not remove all the old oil

in your car, Ford recommends it every 30000 miles- if you don't do it, you are GUARANTEED to have trouble down the road. If you are not sure it was done recently, get it done, and then do it every 30k miles after that.
