2019 GMC Battery Drain

Asked by Len Jul 28, 2019 at 06:14 AM about the 2019 GMC Terrain SLE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Drove 3 hours to a soccer tournament. Came back to the
the car to find that the car is dead after it sat in the parked
for 7 hours.  Nothing was left on.  Could not get it to kick
over until a friend said to take the key farb and hold it in
your hand as you push the engine start button and it kicked
over. Anyone else having issues with a dead battery?
The one weird thing is that the brake pedal was initially
hard to push down.  It was almost as if it was pressed to
many times and there was brake fluid in the line

Thanks JS, I thought it was the key fob too however I received an email from GMC stating the battery was critically low and to start the car or get it serviced.

Update: car battery died again. This time in my driveway. Got it towed to the dealer and they deemed that a cell in the battery was bad and replaced the battery. GMC covered everything. No outta pocket money was used.
