down the board where is the brake pedal, there are a censor, sometimes the censor fails, but beware, right there has a plastic slat cracking and no longer allowed to crush the censor button, you have to look there to see what is the problem.

It could be a broken or loose bracket that the brake switch works with, or a loose brake switch (the nut on them that holds them in place sometimes loosens up allowing them to turn out of place) or the switch has simply worn out. If you look up under the dashboard at the top of the brake pedal rod, you will see the switch with wires connected to it, the mounting bracket and any other plates or levers or stops that the switch works with. If nothing is loose and cannot be moved by hand with simple pressure, the switch is most likely worn out and needs to be replaced.
