Key fob lost in crv--where could it be?

Asked by GuruN34V6 Nov 09, 2019 at 11:09 AM about the 2018 Honda CR-V Touring FWD

Question type: General

My husband has lost his key and it must be inside the 2018 CRV because he
can drive it, turn it off, and start it up again. We've used a flashlight and looked
in all the nooks and crannies that we can find. I've even asked Saint Anthony
for help, but so far no response! Has this happened to anyone else? If so,
where did you find the stealthy key? TIA.

It will always be in the last place you look. Usually things are behind the couch around here.

the best hiding place is straight down from the driver's seat belt latch.

Same problem, tooks us 1 hour to find the key on the seat track straight down the drive seat belt latch. Once we found it, it was stuck, then we realized that we needed to elevate the driver seat and it got freed up.
