Engine Problem

Asked by Ryan Apr 19, 2018 at 10:07 PM about the 1986 Dodge Charger Shelby Turbo FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 86 dodge charger Shelby 2.2. Took it
out of the garage cuz I've been adding new
parts to it. Went to test drive it going down
the road I just put it in 3rd gear and then I
loss power n there's a loud  popping noise
coming from engine close to window side.
The engine sounds different, I just don't
know what's going on need help. And  I
uploaded this pic does anyone know much
about this?

Is that what it is on pic? And I don't think it's exhaust leak. The popping sound almost sounds like air releasing but can't find we're it's coming from.
