Brakes /Not shifting into Gear

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2009 Silverado class I.  I just put new brake pads ,rotor, caliper on drivers side. I
was in a rush as it was getting late and didn't replace the brake caliper pin rubber
bushing  and new bolts. I used the old ones . Everything was working fine for about
three days and then I had a leak in one ofof the bushings (bottom). So I took it apart Nd
replaced the rubber bushings and the n replaced the old bolts with the new bolts . I
bleed my brakes and went to take it for a test run and now it won't go into gear . I just
put gear oil in my truck so i don't know what the problem is . I have to press the pedal to
put it into gear so I'm figuring the brakes. I just replaced my brake light sensor that goes
under the dash on the brake pedal . im clueless

The brake work is unrelated to the transmission problem. I hope you did not put gear oil into an automatic transmission.
