my truck has a lien what are my options when selling?

If you trade it in the amount you owe gets added to the new loan for the new vehicle. Your monthly payments will be much higher and you'll be paying for two vehicles, one of which you no longer have! To sell the vehicle outright you need to at least get enough for it to satisfy the lien and clear the title. You and the buyer should go to the lien holder's office to complete the transaction.
