my sedonas fuel pump is different then the one auto zone is giving me. why?

MY old fuel pump has a flange or lip on the top of the pump. oppose to the one auto zone is selling me which it is flat at the lid.

Dimensionally if they are different...for example just falls into the hole and can't be sealed...hoss yes, we got a problem....pump with the fuel....okay....OK?~
