how do i replace my alternator on my 2005 kia sedona lx van. do i have to remove the engine

No, you should be able to remove it from below, you will probably need to remove the bottom engine bay cover to get to it.

I believe you Lars. Enough so I am going to take that down, because it is only what I found on a forum, and do not know for a fact

I still don't believe how difficult car manufacturers make maintaining a car these days. I can still remember a time when the engine ancilliaries were readily accessible...
