Where can we check the transmission fluid on a  2018   Chevy Equinox

For a 2018? You need to check under the car itself at the bottom of the transmission. There are fill and drain plugs. But why go through all that trouble? Your car is under warranty, and if the car is shifting poorly, have the dealership diagnose the issue for free.
